Social / Recreational Activities in 2003/2004
The residents had a very eventful year with about 120 social and recreation activities, an average of 9 outings a month. There were no activities in the month of April due to the unfortunate SARS outbreak but the activities in the rest of the year more than made up for it. This year, the residents went for many sports related activities. A few selected residents participated in sports adapted for the disabled such as boccia, horse riding, wheelchair racing, archery and even air rifle. We hope the good variety of activities will continue next year so that the residents can be purposefully occupied.
